With our integrated Motor-Control-Research Training Group (iRTG/ Motor-Control-RTG) our aim is to provide a comprehensive training in the field of Motor Control. We offer a unique curriculum and put together a structured PhD and Postdoc programme conducted in English:
The integrated graduate school’s curriculum includes a method and logic training through a journal club, a comprehensive lecture series on motor control, as well as workshops, symposia and other events in specialized methods, scientific soft skills, and career mentoring. A thesis advisory committee monitors students’ research progress through regular reports and meetings.
Structured PhD Programme:
Doctorate candidates of the Motor-Control-RTG (iRTG) will be enrolled in the Graduate School for biological Sciences (GSfBS), an umbrella structure for doctorate candidates striving for the Dr. rer. nat. in biological sciences, or the Interdisciplinary Program Molecular Medicine (IPMM) aiming for the Dr. nat. med./PhD, or the Interdisciplinary Program Health Sciences (IPHS) aiming for a phD at the Medical faculty
